As champions of natural materials, we were drawn to the authentic story of vegetable-tanned leather.
Our Vachetta is certified by Italy’s official vegetable-tanning consortium, a guarantee of its traditional, eco-conscious tanning process, which utilises natural tree bark extracts. It originates from a multi-generational tannery, where time is revered as a crucial ingredient, yielding a pure, supple hide that is destined to develop a rich, personal patina over the course of a lifetime.
We call ours “Wave Leather” for the random, undulating textures that grace its surface.
No two pieces are alike; each hide tells its own story through these natural waves, making every belt unique from the start. This leather is a living canvas, its initial waves destined to slowly merge with the unique narrative of your life.
